Rocky Mountain Front

The H Lazy 6 Ranch consists of 3,500+/- deeded acres nestled at the base of the “Rocky Mountain Front” one of the most scenic areas found in the United States.  A place where the Rocky Mountains rise abruptly out of the lush rolling grasslands thousands of feet high like a great wall dominating the western skyline. The ranch offers numerous building sites with some of the most dramatic unobstructed views of the “Rocky Mountain Front” to be found anywhere. Adjacent to the ranch is the “Pine Butte Preserve”, consisting of 20,000 acres and dedicated to conservation through The Nature Conservancy to forever protect the natural environment against development.  This is the only wildlife viewing area of its kind in the lower 48 states. Access to National Forest and the Bob Marshall wilderness is just 15 minutes from the ranch.

The H Lazy 6 Ranch offers numerous options.  It presently serves as a working cattle ranch.  Nearly 8 miles of live water meander through the ranch, providing excellent livestock water as well as shelter for wildlife. A 5 acre pond provide fishing for Rainbow, Browns and Brook Trout with Rainbow and Browns reaching up to 22 to 26 “ inches.

The ranch headquarters consist of a 4,000 plus sq. ft. home with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, large living room, office and a ranch kitchen.  Out buildings include a small garage/shop and an indoor roping arena with 12 stalls.  The working corrals are built to handle cattle and buffalo.  The ranch has approximately 10 miles of new fencing with an additional 6 miles being buffalo proof.
